The influence of the car on the environment and human health

Our environment is getting polluted day by day through various ways.  No doubt our transportation is playing a major role in this heavy pollution.   When we drive from one point to another, we have to face gases, burning fossil fuels, and pollution that affects everything around us, more than you might think.  Transportation is a must in today’s world, we rely so heavily on it, it can be hard to accept change in any way whatsoever.

But with the tripling in need of cars and how many happen to be on the road today, you might be asking, how bad is it really to have a car that doesn’t take the environment into consideration?

Well, let’s just say this: According to SF Gate: According to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, more than half of the air pollution in the nation is caused by mobile sources, primarily automobiles. Further contributing to the pollution potential of cars is the fact that they are filled with numerous fluids, which can harm the environment in the cases of leakage or improper disposal.

This is a scary message that’s out there, it’s something that can’t simply continue like this because we want the easy convenience that our cars give. We have to take the time to care a bit more and see how these negative impacts and affecting the world we are supposed to be thriving in.

Before we get into the specifics we want to show you an example of a great car that has great qualities when it comes to being eco-friendly in many ways. There are more expensive models out there like the Tesla that push this even further, but this example below doesn’t have such a huge price tag on it.

A great example of a fantastic car you can purchase if you want to be a bit more environmentally friendly is the Toyota 86. With this kind of car, you’ll be able to have a modern looking design that keeps the environment in mind.

We’ve included a bit about the car below courtesy of Zombi Drive: Assembled in Japan only, Toyota 86 has hit the market in 2012 and represented one of the most attractive recent models in commerce these days. It generated a huge hype when it was released, maybe because it was developed by both Toyota and Subaru. The beautiful couple in this video is driven through a wild area in the desert. This is the perfect environment to enjoy the power and reliability of this vehicle fully, with no worries at all. Other than that, the name is said to be related to the old AE86 generation – a legend for many car enthusiasts.

In the article below, we’ll be covering what to look for when discussing the influence of cars when it comes to the environment and our own health that comes into play when discussing cars and how they play a role in our lives.

We’ll be discussing the importance of air quality and how that has changed in the environment in recent years, as well as how important the environment is as a whole. Another important factor we’ll be covering is the ozone and how cars change shaped this planet in a way that’s a bit worrisome if we don’t make the switch to more ecological cars in the future.

It’s important to remember that we have a choice when it comes to the cars we drive. We can choose whether or not we want one car over another, which also means we have the choice to choose a car based on how not only it affects us, but how it affects the environment around us and everyone else.

Hopefully, after reading through this guide you’ll have a better understanding of how cars can affect the world around us and our potential futures. Let us know your thoughts when it comes to the cars you have in mind! Let us know how they will change the future and if you want to make better changes later down the line as well to make a more positive impact on everyone’s future.

Air Quality

There are tons of different gases and particles that are released from cars that can negatively affect the environment. This includes carbon dioxide that can be very harmful to humans and nature all in one. This will lead to smog in huge cities and awful effects that can harm a human’s health. To combat that, it’s best to make sure that you stick to electric and more eco-friendly cars.

The Environment & Ozone

Many vehicle emissions have such a negative effect on the environment that it can tear apart the ozone layer. This is what protects humans from the sun, it keeps us safe. If we don’t make a big difference sometime in the future, there will be a point in time where the sun will become even more harmful towards us humans and the environment. Hopefully, this will not happen for millions of years, but it’s important to make the right choices now to prevent such an awful risk.

Making such a simple choice, such as just changing what kind of car you drive, even if that means it costs a little bit more, isn’t that worth it regardless of the price, for the long term of everyone?

Overall, just because of all these articles on the internet claiming the end of the world is going to happen because of our cars, just remember that not all hope is lost. If we all collectively change our ways for the better, it can make our lives and the lives of people we care about so much better in many ways.

Even something as simple as changing what car we drive on a daily basis can make a massive difference that will be good for everyone, including the environment we should be caring about so much more than we do currently. If you’re unsure of what steps to take to make these changes, speak to a car enthusiast that’s local and get their opinion on this topic as well!

Thanks for this great article. I just calculated my carbon footprint and was shocked by the results. We definitely have to change the way we are doing things if we want to live more sustainably…I am considering switching my current car for a hybrid, a bit expensive, but well, that will be better in the long run for both the planet and me!
    Cheers, Elna

Exposure to indoor air pollution has been linked to the development of everything from infections to asthma to lung cancer. It can also cause less serious side effects such as headaches, nasal congestion, nausea, fatigue and dry eyes. Having a good air purifier at our home and office can definitely save us from many health hezards.
